WESTMOOR PTFA

We have a growing PTFA at Westmoor Primary School and we would love even more parents and grandparents of our pupils to be involved in the fabulous work which they do.   If you think you may be able to commit some of your time to helping us in organising and running fun events to raise funds for our school, such as Coffee Mornings, Discos and the annual Summer Fayre or if you have some good ideas for fundraising, please speak to Mrs Ibrahim, Mrs Day or Mr Longley at the school.

Westmoor Christmas Parties

This December, the PTFA was proud to support our year group Christmas parties. Thanks to the PTFA all children received and enjoyed a special party lunch, following a fantastic disco and party games.

Your support of our PTFA events have allowed all our children to enjoy a well-earned celebration.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

On Thursday 28th September, we proudly hosted our annual MacMillan Coffee morning. It was a joy to support such a worthwhile charity. The morning was well attended by members of our school community with the donations of cakes and biscuits giving us all a sugar rush!

We had a very generous donation from one parent - a quite outstanding cake (see the pictures below) - that was raffled during celebration assembly.

Together we raised an amazing £538 for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Summer Fayre 2023

On Saturday 23rd September we held our annual Summer Fun Day. We had lots of fun activities set up in school including: West Yorkshire Fire Service with their fire engine; Dewsbury Rams Team Mascot including drills and rugby practice; Inflatable and Go Karting; Delicious food from Rices and Spices (Batley).
