Work Together, Play Together, Succeed Together

This week in English we would like you to write Instructions.

BUT, before you do, we want you to make 'Greek salad skewers.'

This is just a posh name for basically fruit and veg (and feta cheese) you would typically find in a Greek salad on a cocktail stick! Have a look on Google if you are unsure.

Once you've made it, have a go at writing a set of instructions on how to make them.

Day 1

Grammar work on 'Time Conjunctions.'

Day 2

Make the Greek salad skewers at home with an adult.

Day 3

Begin writing the introduction and the ingredients list for your instructions.

Day 4

Write the equipment list and the method. This is the important part. Remember to include imperative verbs and time conjunctions.

Make sure your instructions are written in order and they are clear to follow.

Day 5

Write the evaluation- any extra information/top tips etc.

Then, see if someone can follow your instructions and make the Greek salad skewers for themselves.

Are your instructions clear enough?

All the details can be found in the pdf below.

Try and take a photo of your Greek skewers and email it to your teachers. We'd love to see how you get on!
