White Rose Maths WB 27.4.20
Hi year 6!
As a school we follow the White Rose Maths scheme (although we have changed it slightly to fit in with our schedule for teaching maths) and they have produced some excellent resources for home learning. There are 4 days of maths with a Friday challenge. Each day starts with a video explaining the learning for the day. The videos can be paused at various points to allow you time to have a go at the activities. It is really important that you watch the videos before trying the challenges.
The work is set at year 6 standard but if you are finding it tricky please try the year 5 work which is a good recap for last week's task.
This week please visit here https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/ and choose the summer term - week 2 (w/c 27.4.20) tab (see the picture below). The work is all about angles in quadrilaterals and may be new to some of you but you have done the prior learning to be able to understand this. I have put the questions below but these are also on the White Rose website.
Good luck and try your best. As always, do what you can and if you have any problems please complete the form at the top of the year 6 page.
