Hi Year 5 Children,
We hope that you are all keeping really well and staying safe. Remembering to stay at home and wash your hands often. We miss teaching you and we look forward to seeing you at school again in the future.
Each week we will be putting some new work for you to do on the school website. Please don’t try to do it all at once. We suggest that you do 1 piece of maths each day and either 1 grammar, 1 reading or 1 writing activity each day. There is also some topic learning to do. Our new topic is called the Industrial Revolution and you will be able to find out what life was like in Victorian times and compare it to your own. There will be a couple of tasks linked to this topic each week.
Remember to also use the links to TT Rockstars and Hour of Code. Don’t forget to read just for pleasure – it is a great way to relax. It is also important to continue to exercise. Joe Wicks has a daily exercise on his YouTube channel. It streams live at 9am but you can always join in later if you want to.
Keep yourselves busy but don’t worry if you aren’t able to complete everything. Take some time to relax and be kind and helpful to your parents.
Stay Safe, stay at home and remember to wash your hands. We will see you soon.
Miss Broad, Mr Connolly and Mr Wiliamson.
