Key-Person Groups

Our Nursery staff have their own key groups of children. They will get to know you and your child and help them feel settled and secure throughout their time in nursery. They will help to ensure your child's needs are being met and monitor their learning and development.

Things to Remember

  • Bring a bag with spare clothes, nappies and wipes if appropriate
  • A coat and sensible shoes for playing outdoors
  • Please put your child's name in their clothes
  • A named water bottle
  • We provide a healthy fruit snack and milk
  • Don't forget to use our lending library to change your child's books as often as you like

Applying for Nursery

Children can start nursery in the term after they have turned 3 years old. For example: if your child turns 3 years between September 1st and December 31st, they can start nursery in the January term.

Please contact the school office for an application form.

Tapestry Learning Journal

In Early Years we compile children's learning via an online Learning Journey app called 'Tapestry' - please click on the link for more information.

Parents who are new to school will receive an email with a link to activate their account. Sometimes this email can go to your junk or spam folder so please check those too.

If you have any problems accessing or activating your account, please speak to your child's key person and we would be more than happy to help.
