Our School Day
School Hours
The school day starts at 8.50 am, doors are open from 8.45 am and ends at 3.20 pm.
This amounts to 32.5 hours in a standard week.
Lunchtime for Reception is 11.45am-1.00pm.
The rest of the school is 12.00pm-1.00pm
Wrap Around Care
We are able to offer full wrap–around care for our pupils from 8.00 am until 5.00 pm every day during term time through attendance at the following clubs:
Breakfast Club
In partnership with Greggs, we are able to offer a FREE Breakfast Club for all our children who are entitled to Free School Meals. We only charge £1 per day to all other children to go towards the cost of staff supervision. We provide a healthy breakfast with a choice of cereals, fresh fruit, toast, fruit juice and hot drinks. Children are able to socialise in a safe and fun environment before the start of the school day. Booking is required termly in advance.
The times of Breakfast Club 8.00 am—8.30 am, with provision then provided until the start of the school day.
Whizz Kids
Children can attend Whizz Kids between 3.15 pm—5.00 pm. This is a paid provision and sessions must be booked and paid for in advance. Whizz Kids has craft activities and a host of other activities to take part in. All children who attend will be offered a healthy snack and a drink. Registration forms can be collected from the school office, or downloaded from our website.
Uniform
When children are in school they are part of our community and by wearing a simple uniform, we hope to promote a feeling of equality and belonging. All children in school are expected to wear school uniform.
Winter Uniform
· Grey trousers (not tracksuit/jogging pants/jeans)
· Grey skirt or pinafore dress
· White polo t-shirt
· Royal blue sweatshirt /Royal blue cardigan *
· Black plimsolls for indoor wear
· No jewellery apart from 1 pair of small studs
Summer Uniform (optional)
· Summer dresses blue/white stripes or checks (optional)
· Grey shorts
