Reminders
The doors open at 8.45am and the school day will start at 9.00am.
The school day ends at 3.20pm and children can be collected at the end of the school day at 3.20
Thursday: Home book changing day and library day. Please keep these books over the course of a week and read the same book repeatedly so the children can gain fluency. If you would like to change your child's reading book more frequently, please feel free to bring your child's book bag in as and when you would like it to be changed.
Monday PE DAY! Please ensure your child brings their PE kit in a bag to change into in the afternoon at school.
Items include:
- White polo/t-shirt
- Black shorts/joggers/leggings
- Jumper/jacket for the colder months
- Appropriate footwear eg. trainers
Friday- This will be our spelling day, and tests will be done in our Phonics groups.

Parents Evenings - Monday 11th November and Thursday 14th November.
Year 2 Nativity - Tuesday 10th December 10am and Wednesday 11th December at 2pm.

In DT we designed and made Tudor houses based on our learning around the Great Fire of London. We developed skills in making a hinged door or window opening and looked at buildings to gather ideas for windows and timber patterns.

These words will be included on the weekly spelling tests. Please practise spelling the words with you child throughout the week, in preparation for the test on Friday.
