Reminders

The doors open at 8.50am and the  school day will start at 9.00am. Please arrive on time as lessons start straight away.

The school day ends at 3.20pm and children should be collected at the door promptly.

Friday book bags- Please bring your child's book bag back to school so that we can change their reading books.

PE Day! Please ensure your child brings their PE kit in a bag to change into in the afternoon at school.  

Items include:

• White polo/t-shirt
• Black shorts/joggers/leggings
• Jumper/jacket for the colder months
• Appropriate footwear e.g. trainers

Friday -  This will be our spelling test day. Children will get a Dojo point for scoring 8 or more out of 10. New words will be sent every Friday along with homework.

Helpful Information

Here are the expectations that children in Year 2 are working towards in Maths, Reading and Writing.

These words will be included on the weekly spelling tests. Please practise spelling the words with you child throughout the week, in preparation for the test on Friday.
