Summer Term
This half term we are continuing our Geography unit and moving on to learning about position, direction, and using maps and atlases. We will be learning how to use a key, following routes, and making our own maps and plans.

In Science we have been learning about plants. We planted some sunflower seeds last time and are observing them growing. Check back soon for some photographs of our sunflowers!

We are now going on to learning about different habitats for plants and animals and food chains.

In DT we are developing our skills and understanding in food technology. We will be learning were our food comes from and how it gets to our plate. We will be using kitchen tools to peel, mash, grate and cut vegetables, we will also be designing and cooking our very own soup - yum!
